Greek ceramic fine silver covered round beads approx 15mm diameter with approx. 4mm hole.These beads are kiln-fired ceramic beads covered with copper, refired and then covered with fine silver before being fired again. The silver coating is thicker and more durable than electroplating. Greek ceramic beads by their nature will have patches of smooth and patches of rougher surface with a slightly irregular shape. This is part of their appeal.
